Can I control Vantage Lighting with an RP1

I am currently in the process of programming a new RTi setup for my customers living room as his old remote has gone out and he just wants something new. His media room, however, still works and I am going to change minor programming things from DirecTV to Dish Network and he asked me to see what it would take to have lighting controlled via RTi. I will tell you what the setup is that he has currently and what lighting he has. If it cant be done, please advise what I need to add to make it all work.

Problem with license after Ipad update

Hello everyone,

I hope somebody could advise me how to solve the following problem:
After Ipad updated to iOS 8.4.1 the RTI panel app gives the error message: "Connection error, no license is available on the processor". If I try to set 're-configure' in the RTI app settings, I get the same message.

I did not change the Ipad, so the processor was not changed, what can be the reason that the license disappeared? And the main question is how to return everything back:)

Floor plan graphic design and interactive template from BSD!

Have to share with you guys some amazing floorplan work Noel from Blackman Signature Designs did for my own home and RTI system. I gave him a copy of my blueprint and he came up with not only an exact replica of my floorplan, but a complete, interactive template where I could select lighting, audio, cameras, security, and other stuff. When you select a specific area, there are popups (also designed by BSD). This is incredible and I felt the need to share it. Will be doing this for my next client project for sure.

AT&T UVerse Code Set has an error: how do I fix it?

When I set up my first system with Pro Control, I wanted to edit the names of some commands. That was 2013. Now, in the same system, I need to edit an actual command.

Today we changed a system that I installed in 2013 using the Pro24r and the ProLink.r. TV now comes from a Cisco box called using the "ISB Series Code Group 1 IPTV Receivers" in the library. When I discovered the problem I did not have the time to try other code groups.

The ZERO doesn't work! All the other commands of the codeset work. Anybody have any idea how to repair the database or otherwise make this remote not a brick?... [More Content]

T2-C+ Locked

I have powered off and on the remote and can see that part of the software is loading but the application never displays. It stays in the "RTI, It's Under Control, Please Wait" state. I can retrieve the firmware version but can not download a new app. I can't retrieve the application file from the remote as it won't appear in the list of devices.

RTI Remote Horrible Customer Service

I actively advise against anyone buying this system without the most careful consideration; my experience with it, and with its customer service, has been completely unacceptable.
I purchased the remote through an authorized dealer, who also set it up.
From the outset the remote had an intermittent fault in its battery contacts, which causes it to fail; the fix is to extract the battery using the appropriate tool and reseat it; fix and repeat.
I contacted the dealer to get a replacement, who referred me to RTI Customer Support. RTI Customer Support referred me back to the dealer, in what was... [More Content]

RTI-AD4 RS232 commands

Sorry I am new working with the device.

I wish to send a RS232 command to the device what format do I have to send it out the serial port? I am using Hercules serial mode to send the pattern.

Can I use windows set /p x="*ZN01PWR00\r" \\.\COM1 command ?

XP8 to Verizon FIOS IR IN - Emitter connection questions

Hi Folks,
I have a bit of an IR issue I could use some advice on. The only part of my rack I did not build out was my XP8 IR out to my Verizon FIOS HD boxes. Of course the connections have now begun to fail and I have determined this was due to the previous guys stuffing all the extra IR wire bunches in a small hobby box and I believe pinching some of those small wires against the openings of the box. In taking apart this box I found that they used some type of IR emitter/receiver that has two paired leads coming out of it. One dual lead wire going to the XP8 (IR Out) and the other going to... RTi Panel on ipad frozen

I have the Rti Panel app on my ipad which operates my TV, it was working perfectly well and then suddenly became mostly frozen (the rest of the ipad works, just the commends to the tV stopped being recognized. I powered it down and restarted, but no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Denon,Marantz quality issues

Just wondering if you guys would be interested in throwing out some numbers on Denon and Marantz receivers and surround pre/pros, as far as failures both out of the box and/or shortly thereafter. Just had my Marantz 7702 crap out and another 1 year old Denon crap out on my client.

Lutron Radio RA2 Driver - Raise/Lower Last Button Pressed?

I am using the RTI Lutron Driver with Switch Commands to Toggle the lights on and off. I have not been able to figure out how to get the Raise or Lower last button pressed to work correctly with the driver.

On the Lutron RA2 I have Phantom Button 1 set to Raise last button pressed and Phantom Button 2 to Lower last button pressed.

When I try using the PB 1 through the RTI Driver it will Raise the light level but will not stop until it is fully on.

Is there another way to do what I am trying to do?

Controlling Fire Place

Hi All!

I have a client with a bad Crestron set-up. We are converting over to RTI.
Control System will be the XP-8s.
The current setup has a "Rigged" Fire place controller. Any ideas how to control it via RTI.
Its a simple ON/OFF remote. Heres the link.

Hello Guys

Anybody else Problems with RTI and Denon Heos? It works Everything so far Fine, but After a few Days using it I have to Repower XP3 to get it working again...
The Heos App still works fine...
Any Ideas???

RTI Home system with request of mics

Hi All,

I have a client that has an RTI set up with XP8s Processor and AD-8 Distributed audio. They have an odd request of adding a couple of mic inputs. They aren't interested of adding new commecial gear. Would a simple RDL STM-1, or something comparable work? Converting mic level to line level?

Tutorial on HEX Codes?

Hello,
Is there a tutorial on how to use Hex Codes. I never used them before. I have a customer who has a new Pioneer SC-91 and I couldn't find IR codes for it. Only Hex codes on the pioneer website.

I've installed numerous Pioneer receivers with RTi remotes in the past. Upon changing out and old for new, the newer receivers only work partially. If anyone can help provide an SC-91 IR codes/library, or any insight on how to "make things great again", I'd greatly appreciate it!
